My name is Lixcy Vega. I study entrepreneurship and management with a minor degree in computer science at Inter American university of Puerto Rico Bayamon Campus. It is my second time participating at Explore CRC. Thanks to this conference I was able to participate in the REU INCLUSION at University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. There I worked with Optimization of Convolutional Neural Networks. My next step is to pursue my PhD in Informatics at UIUC starting fall 2020. My research interest combines computer science and psychology. I want to research ways in which technology can be used to help patients that suffer anxiety and depression.
